Simon Deakin has written extensively on the Capability Approach to Labour Law on topics ranging from worker voice, to social rights, job security and flexibility. His work has been influential for scholars both inside and outside the field of labour law, and has been applied widely in both the Global North and Global South.
Ruth Dukes is a leading scholar in the field of labour law, and has published widely on issues of considerable interest to the HDCA – including on issues of worker representation, trade union law and employee consultation.
We therefore trust this event will be of interest to academics and practitioners alike, across different disciplines, and with a wide range of interests. After a presentation of the paper by Simon Deakin, Ruth Dukes will provide a response, and there will then be ample time for everyone to discuss the paper and ask questions in the Q&A.
We hope to see you there.
