Abstract:
I will present the Dublin Declaration for Fair and Equitable Land Access (25/4/24 ) which sets out serious concerns with current approaches to development-forced displacement and resettlement, on human rights, ethical, and sustainability grounds.  Our recommendations to address these serious concerns by treating potentially affected people as development partners from the beginning are framed according to key principles.
