Facing the climate crisis: International experiences of university action

September 12, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm BST

Monday, 12 September 2022, 14:00 – 16:30 BST

Room TBC

IOE, UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, Institute of Education, London, WC1H 0AL

The three presentations for this event draw on emerging findings from the 3-year GCRF project Transforming Universities for a Changing Climate and are intended to foster debate and critical conversation about how universities impact actions and ideas about climate change in the Global South.

Researchers involved with CEID (Centre for Education and International Development, UCL) will be in conversation with the lead research partner for the project in Fiji, Dr Rosiana Lagi, to engage with different dimensions of the contributions of higher education to the climate crisis.

The event is free to attend in person, but registration on Eventbrite is required for room booking purposes. The event is open to all those with an interest in the issues under discussion.
