Quantitative Research Methods
This group is interested in quantitative research methods mainly to do with applied econometrics, but also work that relates to psychology and survey design. The principal aim is to highlight work using these methods and to provide a network of researchers who are willing and able to help with the design of capabilities-related research as well as the analysis of findings. The activities that we envisage at present are the construction of a list of capabilities researchers using applied econometric and other statistical techniques, a database of externally funded capabilities related projects and their funding bodies, and an occasional informal get-together to share ideas as well as support and encourage capabilities researchers wanting to make grant applications to funding bodies.
