North American Network: Introduction

The North American Network aims to bring together scholars (both students and professors/researchers) and practitioners of development with an interest in human development and the capability approach. Newcomers and experts originating from or working in Canada, Mexico and the United States are all welcome to join the network. Our hope is that webinars, conferences, workshops and other fruitful collaborations will be advanced through the network.

Hola everybody! We are organizing our first NACA webinar, on Capabilities and Racial Injustice, and we were wondering if you would like either to propose yourself as a panelist or to propose the name of a panelist you would like to hear.
The idea is for this webinar to focus on racial injustice and the Black Lives Matter movement in North America (Canada, United States, and Mexico). There is a lacuna in the capability literature on race, and we are trying to use our Network to start a conversation about race and racial injustice. We are looking for a North American scholar, who has expertise in this matter.
