Acerca de VINATHE SHARMA

Vinathe has an interdisciplinary perspective to life, learning and work. Her academic qualifications and work experience are in the fields of Psychology, Environmental Studies, Education and Social Work. Drawing from diverse theoretical and practitioner approaches, Vinathe integrates knowledge, training and work/life experience in her teaching and research focusing on the overall improvement of quality of life. Her passion for facilitating human agency is grounded in her work spread across Australia, the UK, and India. As a qualitative researcher, Vinathe’s methodological strengths are autoethnography and phenomenology. A qualified Forest Schools (UK) practitioner, she is keen about the benefits of nature-human relationship and has published in the area. She is interested in research collaborations focusing on Green/Environmental Social Work, Sustainability, Gender, Allied Health and Indigenous Knowledges. Some of her professional memberships are with Australian Association for Bush Adventure Therapy (AABAT); Queensland Outdoor Recreation Federation; Human Development and Capability Association, USA, and National Academy of Psychology, India.
