- Biographical info: Since I earned a PhD in History at the European University Institute in 2011, I worked in the academic environment as a researcher, professor and coordinator (European University Institute, University of Turin, University of Florence). During these years I have been working on the construction of racial categories and inequality, as well as on how the global circulation of goods, practices and consuming habits intertwined with processes of globalization. Over time, I became more and more interested in deepening contemporary implications of the phenomena I was working on, therefore I got a PhD in Sociology from the University of Turin in 2019. Since then, I have continued to work at the University of Turin, teaching Colonial and Postcolonial History (Cooperation Studies Master Degree) and started new collaborations as an independent consultant (www.researchinitaly.com) in the Social Sciences. Since 2021, I joined the ARCO team, in the Inclusive Development Unit, working on participatory methods, disability, vulnerability and resilience, gender gap.
