ESHET 2025 Annual Conference in Torino, Italy
May 22 - May 24
The European Society for the History of Economic Thought (ESHET) will hold its Annual Conference in Torino, Italy, at Campus Luigi Einaudi from May 22–24, 2025.
Titled “It’s the End of Economics (as We Know It),” the conference will explore the changing status of economics from a historical perspective, addressing key factors that are shifting economics away from theory while fostering greater pluralism. These include, specialization in research, the applied turn, and openness to other sciences, among others.
The conference expects to generate engaging discussions not only among historians and methodologists but also, and perhaps above all, economists and other social scientists.
For more details, visit the conference website and follow ESHET on Instagram. More information about the call for papers is available here.
