WEBINAR – Promoting transformative change through new eco-social contracts

Join us in the upcoming webinar dialogue on the topic of Promoting transformative change through new eco-social contracts, jointly organized by members of the UNRISD Global Research & Action Network for a new Eco-Social Contract (GRAN-ESC) and the Human Development Capability Association (HDCA). The hour-long session includes a brief introduction of GRAN-ESC's work, and a panelist discussion on issues in responding to pressing social, climate, and ecological challenges intersecting research and policy communities. Discussion shall also attend to the UN secretary-general's call for a new social contract in the Our Common Agenda report, and include significant UN processes, such as the 2024 Pact of the Future, the 2025 World Social Summit, and the 2030 Agenda.
